Values at the Beach
For two years we had a 2nd row home on the East Beach of Oak Island. This special place 30 miles south of Wilmington, NC and just under an hour north of Myrtle Beach was the perfect family getaway. Due to the unique long length of the island we find the island great for safe bikerides up to 20 miles in length. The unique south facing island allows you to follow sunrises and sunsets over the beach. From our weeks at Oak Island we have picture proof that no two sunsets are the same. We hope you can enjoy a trip to Oak Island as we have. Our goal with this site is to re-create some of the island's features for your planning and enjoyment. We found it a great renters getaway given the number of homes available for rent, the rental prices have stayed suppressed even though the purchase prices have soared!
